At NED Whisky, we’ve taken inspiration from one of Ned Kelly’s earliest acts of bravery for our new reserve grade spirit – NED Green Sash Reserve Australian Whisky. We challenge all aspects of production – from mashing, fermenting and distilling, to maturation and for this unique spirit we focused on the maturation process, originally trialled through our Gold Medal and Trophy winning Wanted Series collection.
For NED Green Sash we select premium aged barrels of reserve NED Whisky, and then harvest the whisky over toasted American oak for extra character and complexity. Bottled at 44% ABV, this premium whisky has tastes of caramel, vanilla and dark chocolate and a long finish of sweet oak and orange, making NED Green Sash a truly extraordinary whisky.
