Retail Drinks Australia has announced the finalists for the 2025 Retail Drinks Industry Awards, which will be held in Sydney on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, alongside the Retail Drinks Industry Summit and FY25 Annual General Meeting.

The Retail Drinks Industry Awards celebrate the people and businesses that exemplify excellence across Australia’s liquor retail sector, from outstanding customer service and product knowledge to innovation and leadership.

Retail Drinks CEO Michael Waters said: “Retail Drinks is honoured to run this important annual program, which recognises the success and hard work of people and companies in our industry.

“We sincerely thank the hundreds of retailer members from all parts of the country who took the time to nominate, congratulate all finalists, and look forward to celebrating with you all at the Awards Presentation Dinner.”

Each year, the Awards attract hundreds of entries across categories recognising both individuals and businesses, providing a valuable platform to boost industry recognition and reward outstanding performance.

The Awards cover 11 categories which are:

  • Liquor Store of the Year (Top 50)
  • Large Format Liquor Store of the Year
  • Online Liquor Retailer of the Year
  • Liquor Store Owner of the Year
  • Liquor Store Manager of the Year
  • Young Liquor Retailer of the Year
  • Beer Supplier of the Year
  • Wine Supplier of the Year
  • Spirits Supplier of the Year
  • Services Partner of the Year
  • Sales Representative of the Year

Finalists in the Liquor Store Manager of the Year, Young Liquor Retailer of the Year, and Sales Representative of the Year categories will now move to the final interview stage over the coming fortnight, ahead of the Awards Presentation Dinner in November.

The Retail Drinks Industry Awards remain a key celebration for Australia’s liquor retail community, highlighting the dedication, professionalism, and commitment to service that define the industry.
