SoHi Spirits is offering Bowral locals and visitors to the NSW Southern Highlands a unique shopping experience with the opening of a boutique bottle shop.
Located on Bowral high street, the bottle shop is SoHi’s first retail store and showcases the produce of the Southern Highlands distillery. Alex Doughty, Founder of SoHi and a Bowral local, shared his excitement about the opening of the shop.
“SoHi takes things up a notch and our first shop in our hometown of Bowral is no different. Southern Highlands’ best spirits, in the best street, in the best new retail experience. It’s more of a jewellery store than a bottle-o.
“We think the best shops are an experience, and our small, luxe space is certainly that. From the global research we’ve done, and from what our customers are already saying, we think we’ve just opened the world’s most beautiful bottle shop.”
Since launching in December 2021, SoHi has specialised in producing premium spirits that express the terroir and essence of the Southern Highlands where the distillery is based.
The full SoHi spirit portfolio is available for tasting and purchasing at the new bottle shop, including the distillery’s signature gin and vodka ranges. Also available is SoHi’s SoGood range, comprising a Negroni, cacao liqueur and vermouth, its new bottled Martinis, and jars of Martini olives.
“Every SoHi is there to be sipped and our core range and limited editions are all available for purchase in beautiful velvet bags,” added Doughty. “Our new bottled Proper Martinis come straight from the freezer and our fancy refill fountain is already a locals’ favourite.
“They simply bring in their empty bottles for a discount and no one has to throw our beautiful bottle out. And when they’re not being refilled, our friends at nearby Small Impact Studio have transformed our bottles into beautiful glassware like vases, bowls and mixing glasses.”
SoHi Bottle Shop can be found at Shop 3b, 391-397 Bong Bong Street in Bowral, opening from Thursday to Sunday 11am to 5pm.
