Stoneleigh, Australia’s no.3 New Zealand wine brand[1], is committed to the environment and proud to be on a sustainability journey, boasting a unique connection with nature, a vibrant portfolio of wines and a new look to highlight its sustainability focus.
Aussie consumers can get a taste for themselves of Stoneleigh’s new positioning and look that captures the beauty and vibrancy of nature, through the release of the Marlborough range which features the new design and is officially on shelf across retailers this month (Nov).
Grown in the stone-studded Rapaura soils, Stoneleigh wines are famous for their fresh, crisp style and vibrant flavours. For thousands of years, the Wairau River ran through what are now Stoneleigh’s vineyards, depositing stones of all sizes. Today, Stoneleigh’s vines are planted among these sunstones, as they capture heat throughout the day and release it on to the vines, helping develop rich, intense flavours in the grapes.
Building to its sustainability credentials, Stoneleigh is 100% certified sustainable[2] and its wine portfolio is vegan certified across all wines from vintage 2020[3], using pea protein and bentonite clay to filter the wines yet deliver the same great taste.
Eric Thomson, Marketing Director, Pernod Ricard Winemakers said “We know consumers are looking for more sustainable options in the products they buy and consume. We’re really proud to be on a sustainability journey where Stoneleigh is 100% certified sustainable, our wines are not only Vegan certified but have a unique connection with nature, which is beautifully brought to life in the new look.”
“This is the first of many things you can expect to see from Stoneleigh as we continue our sustainability journey” he continued.
