The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14-year-old single malt whisky is a testament to how cask finishing has elevated single malt whisky, matured in traditional oak casks for 14 years before being ‘finished’ in casks that formerly held Caribbean rum. Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE personally selected his own blend of Caribbean rums for this, expertly crafting the process to create the ideal whisky.
The result is an exceptional single malt whisky with the traditional smooth, honeyed character of The Balvenie married with notes of toffee and a hint of fruit, with a warm, lingering finish.
The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14-year-old is now available at $165 RRP per 700ml bottle, alongside The Balvenie Double Wood 12-year-old at $125 RRP per 700ml bottle.
