Thirsty Camel Victoria recently held its annual business forum, with Victorian members and key suppliers meeting for the three-day conference in Hobart.
Around 250 guests came together to celebrate Thirsty Camel’s strong growth over the past 12 months, and to discuss 2024’s business objectives. Sports commentator Hamish McLachlan hosted the conference alongside Thirsty Camel General Manager Adrian Moelands.
“It’s a testament to the strength of the brand and its performance in the market that we saw the largest number of suppliers and members join us for this year’s event,” Moelands commented.
The event’s key focuses were growing the Hump Club loyalty program and the launch of member incentive program, Camel Bucks. Impressively, the Hump Club program announced a 400 per cent growth in members over the last year.
The conference concluded with the annual gala dinner and award ceremony, which was hosted at Princes Wharf 1. Notable award winners included Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, who claimed 2023 Supplier of the Year, and Keilor Hotel, who was awarded the 2023 Store of the Year. The gala dinner also featured a surprise guest appearance from cricketer-turned-winemaker Ricky Ponting, who shared stories about the success of Ponting Wines, as well as recollections about his cricketing career.
