Newly renovated Liquor Legends outlet, the Toronto Hotel, was named the Best Retail Liquor Outlet at the NSW AHA Awards for Excellence.
Owner, Jon Bortoli, was understandably delighted to have come out on top against 11 other venues, including two other Liquor Legends stores.
Bortoli credits the recognition to the store’s recent renovation along with the successful Liquor Legends rewards program, and good old fashioned customer service.
“Liquor Legends as a group is centre stage and for a good reason. The POS systems, the help of their NSW Representative, Glen Kesby, and the Rewards program run by Vaughan Peters, makes it easier for us to focus on executing excellent customer service and providing a complete shopping experience,” he said.
The recent renovations, completed by Cullinan Ivanov Architects, have seen the Toronto Hotel converted to include a two-lane drive-through and a huge floor space allowing for 20 fridge doors and a huge product range.
Bortoli continued: “With the bottle shop now positioned in a more accessible place, our name on the map and Christmas around the corner, we believe it is a recipe for success. Bring on the busiest trading period of the year.”
The Liquor Legends Group also took out the Best Traditional Hotel Bar award with the George Tavern.
Owner, Janine Redman said: “In 2017, we made the move to Liquor legends. This decision was based largely around the exclusive ‘Rewards Member’ offering which gives our customers access to red hot discounts and notifications for when their favourite product is on special. Liquor Legends as a group lead a strong promotional program and are extremely customer focused, with a large range of product and at unbeatable prices. We think it’s easy to shop with Liquor Legends and our customers think so too.”
