We are pleased to invite your distillery to participate in our upcoming 3rd Annual Melbourne International Spirits Competition (MISC) this July 3rd-4th 2016. This international spirits competition will be held in the heart of Melbourne.
The spirits industry is seeking a TRADE ONLY blind judging panel spirits competition to be held here in Melbourne. The retail store buyer, sommelier, restaurant beverage director, hotelier, distributor and importer will be our judges. We feel these judges whose livelihood rely upon their skill set truly know what the consumer wants as they receive on a daily basis the feedback from the consumer of what is good and what will sell at what price. The competition is open to all commercially produced spirits from around the world. You may submit if you are not currently being sold in Australia or the Melbourne Market.
The Benefits
Recognition by the trade by winning an award bestowed upon you the Spirits Producer. The Award Winners will be able to use their awards (Double Gold, Gold, Silver, Bronze) in their marketing materials at no charge. The award winners will be listed in our online database. The award winning results will be distributed to our media partners in the local Melbourne Market, Nationally and Internationally.
How To Enter
The competition will be held in Melbourne on July 3rd-4th 2016 We invite you to submit your spirits to the Melbourne International Spirits Competition through our website or you can also use the form and email Adam
Please also feel free to contact us directly if you are a spirits organization and or submitting 20 plus spirits for additional support. The cost to enter begins at AUD $150 online. The spirits have to arrive by June 28th to be judged. Each submission is required to submit two sample bottles of 700-750ml. Therefore for example three submissions would a total of 6 bottles shipped.
