South Australia’s 23rd Street Distillery has launched a Raspberry & Finger Lime Gin, which it says taps into the growing demand for versatile and flavourful gins and is a gin that captures the essence of summer.

The distillery says the new gin has a complex profile, a fruit-driven character and a bold colour, adding that it can be sipped neat, mixed with tonic or soda or used in creative cocktails.

Sarah Camerlengo, Brand Manager at 23rd Street Distillery, said: “We wanted to create a gin that truly reflects the evolving tastes of modern drinkers.

“With the trend toward fruit-forward and approachable gins, our Raspberry & Finger Lime Gin offers a refreshing, elevated experience perfect for any occasion—whether it’s a casual afternoon with soda or tonic, or as the hero in a cocktail.”

The gin’s base is created by vapour-distilling blue juniper berries, this base is then macerated with ripe raspberries and finger limes for three weeks, allowing the fruit’s natural flavours to integrate with the gin’s spice.

Camerlengo added: “Our approach was all about balance and boldness.

“Gin has evolved beyond its traditional roots. Today’s consumers want a gin that’s flavourful, versatile, and intriguing. We believe this release captures that essence perfectly, offering a dynamic and refreshing experience, especially as we transition into the warmer months.”

Head Distiller Paul Burnett said the distillation process at the distillery is driven by experimentation as well as a commitment to using the finest ingredients.

“We love exploring new possibilities and local ingredients with each release,” he said.

“The raspberries and finger limes sourced for this gin brought out the best of Australia’s natural flavours, and we’re proud of the result – vibrant, refreshing, and distinctly local.”

The 23rd Street Distillery Raspberry & Finger Lime Gin is available now for independent bars and retailers.
