Paramount Liquor is looking toward a new and exciting chapter for the company after moving to a new 12,000sqm in Yennora, NSW.

The new facility will help Paramount with its post-COVID pivot into more off-premise business and its continued expansion into the NSW and ACT markets.

Nathan Rowe, Director of Paramount Liquor, told The Shout that the new warehouse facility was a step change for growth in the NSW and ACT markets.

“[The new wareshouse] provides Paramount with the capability for growth across, not just its core on-premise customer base but also support the growth into retail with its Sessions Retail offer.

“The facility will also allow Paramount Liquor the capability to offer contract distribution for other marketing groups in the NSW and ACT markets.”

Prior to COVID and the lockdown of on-premise venues nationally, and then extended in Victoria, Paramount had a strong on-premise focus to its business, but actively sought to re-shape the business as key accounts closed.

This saw the group launch its Sessions banner group, with the first store opening in Sandringham and a second store opening soon in West Brunswick.

Jon Fernandes Paramounts GM for Retail, who heads up the Sessions retail offer, said: “The new warehouse facility will support our push into the retail space, providing the group with a competitive cost structure, combined with an ever-expanding range, which will more than complement the Sessions retail offer.”

As well as launching Sessions, Paramount also moved to helped venues impacted by the lockdown by supporting stock buybacks through Hairydog. The Shout will bring you more about the busy 2020 and major pivot for Paramount next week.
