Today’s world premiere of the Sex In the City movie will showcase SKYY Vodka in the film and after party, with cocktails created in honour of the five main characters.
Following the world premiere in London, stars and showbiz guests will be served SKYY Vodka cocktails capturing the bewitching and fun-loving personalities of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha and Mr Big, UK-based Voice PR reported.
SKYY vodka marketing manager, Katie Warren, said the high-quality quadruple distilled clean-tasting vodka from the US made a good style match with the film and characters.
“These smart and exciting cocktails capture the enchanting personalities of the fabulous four. Like them, SKYY is the ideal modern vodka for the self-confident and stylish lover of cocktails,” Warren said.
The ‘fabulous’ cocktails created to reflect each character include:
Carrie – Classic
50ml SKYY Berry vodka
25ml Grand Marnier
10ml Lime Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with mixed berry fruits
Miranda – Sweet and bitter
50ml SKYY vodka
15ml Campari
50ml Pomegranate juice
25ml Grand Marnier
15ml Lemon juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with a lemon wheel
Charlotte – Imaginative and artistic
Crush 12 mint leaves with sugar or sugar syrup and a quartered lime in a tall glass
Add 50ml of SKYY Vanilla vodka
Top up glass with crushed ice
Garnish with a sprig of mint
Samantha – Adventurous, wild and fun
35ml SKYY vodka
25ml tequila
15ml sugar syrup
25ml freshly squeezed lime juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Rim glass with a mix of salt and pepper
Mr Big – Confident, classic and cool
50ml SKYY vodka
15ml Cinzano Extra Dry
Stir or shake with ice and serve in a chilled Martini glass
Garnish with a lemon twist
