Popular hard seltzer producer, White Claw, has brought two flavours from the 6.5 per cent ABV Surge range to Australia.
The stronger seltzer will be available in Blood Orange and Blackberry expressions, described as ‘two of the most popular flavours in the US’.
Scott Walton, President of Mark Anthony Brands International (which owns the White Claw brand) said he was delighted to bring these new offerings to Australia.
“We are excited to extend the White Claw range in Australia. When we first launched here in October 2020, we sold one million cans in the first week,” Walton said.
“The Hard Seltzer category is now worth $210m AUD and growing 188 per cent YOY, with White Claw being the number one contributor to value growth last summer (IRI MAT to June 2022).
“We’re thrilled to offer Aussies even more from this brand. Living a more conscious lifestyle, whilst at the same time enjoying life to the fullest is what has inspired White Claw, and we see this as a growing trend in Australia too.
“Globally, there has been an overwhelmingly positive response to White Claw Surge which is worth over $70m USD in the US,” Walton continued.
White Claw Surge is available in 330ml cans, with each can containing two grams of carbohydrates, no artificial sweeteners and no gluten.
“As the global leader in the hard seltzer category, I am confident we will see similar success here in Australia with these two delicious flavours, Blood Orange & Blackberry,” Walton concluded.
White Claw Surge will be available nationwide in retail and the on-premise from Monday 14 November. A four-pack will retail for an RRP of $30.
