This month (November 2022), Brown Brothers is hosting its Spring Wine and Food Festival at its Milawa home in North East Victoria.
Held across two days on 19 and 20 November, the festival will be bring together Brown Brothers wines, live entertainment and local produce with events held at the barn, restaurant and cellar door.
Brown Brothers Local Area Marketing Manager Katherine Brown expressed her delight at the return of the Spring Festival, and the chance showcase some of the group’s newer releases.
“We have so many new wines to show which will feature in the cellar door and exciting new pop-up produce store and wine bar.”
This message is echoed by Andrew Harris, Brown Brothers Brand Ambassador.
“Some of the wines you will be able to taste here are straight from our kindergarten winery and could be our next new release in cellar door,” Harris says.
In particular, a focus will be on Tarrango, Prosecco and Fiano grapes.
“This is a great opportunity to come and experience your own unique wine adventure,” Katherine adds.
The Festival begins with a Friday night spring dinner, curated by Head Chef Bodee Price, which will be paired with Limited Release and back vintage Brown Brother’s wines.
Over the course of the weekend, the on-site restaurant will be open for lunch, serving up four courses, with or without matched wine, and with a cheese selection to finish.
Grounds General Admission passes cost $20. Tickets are required to be purchased prior to the event through the Brown Brothers website, and are limited in number.
“This pass gives guests the ability to taste across the total Brown Brothers portfolio and gives you access to some new and exciting wines with the opportunity to provide feedback on what could be the next big thing,” Harris concludes.
