Melbourne bar Spice Market has partnered with a French Champagne house to open an exclusive lounge influenced by the iconic 1960’s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie.

The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Champagne Lounge is being touted as the ‘private jet’ of Melbourne’s bar scene, with room for 14 patrons and a subterranean entry point for guests requiring discretion and anonymity.

It is decorated externally with intricate painted gold patterns displaying the Perrier-Jouët anemone flower print and handmade mosaic tiling. Internally, the lounge exudes warmth through the use of plush fabrics, neck-high spherical seating and delicate mood lighting.

A personal attendant is provided to ensure super-premium service and Champagne is served in hand painted flutes. Mezze style dishes and karaoke facilities are also available.

“The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Champagne Lounge is the finest and most exclusive private lounge and will offer patrons an experience they are not accustomed to in Melbourne hospitality,” said Spice Market owner, Dean Lucas.

“Already we have seen many international personalities reserve the lounge and we envisage entertaining many more.”

The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Lounge is now available for private booking from $1500, which includes a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque Champagne. Bookings are essential.
