Chandon Australia has welcomed esteemed winemaker Loic Le Calvez as its new Senior Winemaker. Bringing over 20 years of experience in the sparkling wine industry, Le Calvez will join Chandon at its Yarra Valley Winery.
As a highly qualified oenologist with global winemaking experience, Le Calvez is well positioned to support Chandon in its commitment to sustainable winemaking.
“I am thrilled to be joining Chandon Australia and to contribute to the rich winemaking heritage of the Yarra Valley,” said Le Calvez, who will draw on his knowledge as a renowned wine judge and consultant.
“It is wonderful to work as part of the talented team at Chandon, not only in crafting exceptional sparkling wines but also in furthering their commitment to sustainability initiatives.”
Since 2012, Chandon Australia has been accredited by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, with a commitment to protecting and restoring the fragile ecosystems on its site and preserving its natural assets.
