The Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA) will kick off the year with the 2011 WCA Macquarie Group Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners Lunch, to be held at Parkside Ballroom B, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour on Friday, February 18.
Widely regarded as one of the highlights on the Australian wine industry calendar, the lunch will showcase the trophy-winning wines of the 2011 Macquarie Group Sydney Royal Wine Show.
Each wine will be specially paired to a three-course meal featuring trophy and gold medal-winning produce from the Sydney Royal Dairy and Fine Food Show.
The WCA has confirmed that the guest speaker at the lunch will be UK-based international wine judge and commentator, Stephen Brook.
During the lunch, the WCA will also announce the winner of the WCA Australian Wine Communicator Award and Gourmet Traveller WINE/WCA New Wine Writer Award.
Tickets to the lunch cost $150 per person for members and $190 per person for non-members.
