Family-owned winery Logan Wines will officially launch its second cellar door in the New South Wales city of Orange on Friday 8 March, housed in the award-winning former Montoro Wines Cellar Door building.
Logan Wines Owner and Winemaker Peter Logan says he is over the moon to be officially launching the Logan Cellar Door in Orange.
“It’s a beautiful space with echoes of the pared back, inviting design components of our Mudgee space, yet with a slightly more layered palette and moodier atmosphere. The space is very close to the Orange central business district and feels a bit like a wine bar, albeit one located in a beautiful rural setting.”
Rather than embarking on an extensive reconstruction, Peter says the team chose to make use of the existing iconic structure, which includes high ceilings and a sweeping roofline with views out to the surrounding vineyards.
The space features interiors that have been curated by local interior designer Liv Johnson, including stone, distressed timber and mixed metals to create a natural finish, paired with linen and rattan furnishings.
Logan says the finished result is representative of the team’s commitment to quality and respect for the environment.
“Our ethos at Logan revolves around sustainability and appreciation for local beauty. We aimed to maintain the integrity of the venue and infuse it with our signature Logan atmosphere.”
The new Orange Cellar Door will open Thursday through to Monday, offering guided tastings of Logan’s range of wines, including the Ridge of Tears, Logan, Clementine and Vintage ‘M’ Cuvee labels.
The launch will be celebrated on Friday 8 March with an exclusive sunset soiree event.
