Submissions are open to contribute in an exclusive ‘Bourgogne and Chablis Buyer’s Guide’ to be held by National Liquor News in collaboration with The Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB), the body responsible for promoting Bourgogne and Chablis wines on a global scale.
Our inaugural Bourgogne and Chablis Buyer’s Guide will provide insights into the unique characteristics, heritage, and exceptional quality of these wines, along with purchasing advice to assist Australian wine professionals and buyers in navigating the wines of Bourgogne and Chablis.
Up to 70 wines will be evaluated on 25th February 2025 by a panel of experts, including Andrea Pritzker MW, Bourgogne wine Official Ambassador in Australia, alongside National Liquor News wine professionals (journalists, sommeliers, educators, etc.).
Date of publication: Early May 2025
Eligible appellations & vintage:
- Bourgogne and Mâcon plus geographical denomination (NEW)
- Lesser-known Villageappellations
- Petit Chablis and Chablis AOCs
- Note: Vin de France and Beaujolais wines are excluded
- Wines submitted for tasting should be from a vintage that will be available on the Australian market when the magazine will be published (May-June 2025).
