Pike & Joyce Wines, based in the Adelaide Hills, has announced The Wine Company as its new distributor for QLD, NSW, ACT, and VIC, effective 1 March.

Director of Pike & Joyce Wines, Jamie Pike, says that the new partnership will strengthen its foothold in key East Coast markets.

“We are thrilled to begin this new partnership with The Wine Company. Their deep understanding of the Australian wine market and commitment to quality make them an ideal partner to take our brand forward,” he said.

Michael Wilson, General Manager at The Wine Company also shared his excitement about the partnership and how it would help to strengthen their portfolio.

“We are excited to have such a well-respected Adelaide Hills family brand as part of our broader winery family. We had a gap in our range for purely Adelaide Hills region, and Pike & Joyce will fill this gap beautifully,” said Wilson.

Established in 1998, Pike & Joyce Wines’ portfolio includes cool-climate varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Shiraz.

Through the new partnership with The Wine Company, Pike & Joyce Wines will continue its focus on building strong relationships with existing and future trade partners and consumers.

The move will see the group depart from previous distributor, Deja Vu Wine Co, which had represented Pike & Joyce for over 10 years.

“We would like to sincerely thank Deja Vu Wine Co for their exceptional work in building the Pike & Joyce brand over the last decade. Their efforts have been instrumental in establishing our presence on the East Coast, and we’ve greatly enjoyed working with their team,” said Pike.

This change will only apply to QLD, NSW, ACT, and VIC. Pike & Joyce will continue to be represented by Options Wine Merchants in SA and David Mullen Wine Agency in WA.
