Corona named the most valuable beer brand globally for the second consecutive year in Kantar’s BrandZ 2025 Most Valuable Global Brands report.

The report, which ranks the top-performing beer brands worldwide, revealed that eight of the 10 most valuable global beer brands now fall under AB InBev’s portfolio, highlighting the brewer’s continued brand strength and market influence.

The latest recognition comes after a strong year for the global beer producer with AB InBev posting record-high revenues and 15 per cent underlying earnings per share (EPS) growth in 2024.

Corona experienced double-digit growth outside its home market of Mexico, while its non-alcoholic variant, Corona Cero, saw triple-digit growth. Notably, Corona Cero is also making history as the first beer brand to sponsor the Olympic Games, debuting at Paris 2024.

In 2025, the brand marks its centenary with global celebrations under the “Corona 100” platform.

“For Corona to be recognised as the most valuable beer brand in the world in the same year the brand is celebrating its 100-year anniversary shows the power of building brands for the long-term. And as the fastest growing beer brand in the US, Michelob Ultra was recognised with the Kantar Brand Growth Award,” said Marcel Marcondes, Global Chief Marketing Officer, AB InBev.

Budweiser followed Corona as the second most valuable beer brand globally, while Michelob Ultra rose to fifth place in the rankings. In addition, Michelob Ultra was awarded the Kantar Brand Growth Award in the US. The award recognises exceptional year-on-year brand value growth, strategic clarity, and marketing effectiveness.

The Kantar report’s methodology blends consumer perception with financial data to deliver a comprehensive evaluation of a brand’s worth as a corporate asset. Now in its 20th year, the Kantar BrandZ rankings are widely regarded as a key benchmark for brand health and business impact.
