Australian family-owned winery Brown Brothers has unveiled its latest wine innovation, Brown Brothers Prosecco Yuzu Lemon Spritz.

Designed to satisfy several key trends in the liquor landscape, the new release blends Brown Brothers Prosecco with the bold zesty flavours of Japanese yuzu, resulting in a sessionable spritz that caters to consumer demand for flavour-forward citrus beverages.

Tapping into the momentum for spritz-style drinks across the wine and RTD categories, Prosecco Yuzu Lemon Spritz is available in both 750ml bottles and 250ml cans. With the 250ml can growing ahead of the category, this format not only appeals to Gen Z and Millennial consumers seeking convenience – the portion control element is also desirable to those seeking lighter, more mindful drinking options.

“Innovation is in our DNA,” says Emma Brown, Head of Innovation and fourth-generation Brown family at Brown Family Wine Group.

“The new Prosecco Yuzu Lemon Spritz continues our legacy of leading categories and evolving with our consumers. This launch not only builds on our Prosecco credentials but also brings to life the flavours and formats that today’s drinkers are craving. It’s bright, bold, and unmistakably Brown Brothers,” she continued.

This new innovation from Brown Brothers follows the producers’ unveiling of a limited-edition aluminium bottle earlier this month – another bold innovation with convenience front of mind. Designed to keep Prosecco fresher for longer, the aluminium bottle chills faster than glass and offers portability, while also reducing environmental impact.
