Ray White Hotels Australia is set for a shake-up with three high-profile names set to revitalise and expand the pub division of Australia’s largest real estate group.
Andrew Jolliffe, formerly CEO and MD at National Leisure & Gaming (NLG), Brian White, chairman of the Ray White Group and Tony Bargwanna, formerly national director of Jones Lang LaSalle, will head the venture.
Ray White Hotels was launched in February 2010, with Bargwanna teaming up with property figures Andrew and Greg Bell, and operated from Brisbane.
Jolliffe said the Bells would remain involved and that the new partnership would give Ray White Hotels a more national focus.
“We see Ray White Hotels Australia as filling a void in the hotel broking landscape in Australia, as distinct from simply vying for a piece of existing market share,” he told TheShout.
“Brian White’s unparalleled experience in the property industry, coupled with Tony Bargwanna’s continued success in the hotel broking space provides a fantastic platform for us to deliver access to distinctive sales and investment opportunities.”
Jolliffe has over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry ranging from a period as an owner/operator through to private equity fund management and running an ASX-listed hotels company.
Brian White said the formation and expansion of Ray White Hotels Australia was a natural progression for the group following on from the success of Ray White Commercial throughout Australia.
