The Watershed Hotel sheltered hundreds of guests on a wet Sydney night for the Fifth Annual Cosmopolitans for a Cause in support of the McGrath Foundation.
Pub group J&J O'Brien raised over $7300 to help place McGrath Foundation breast care nurses in communities across Australia and increase awareness in young Australian women.
The predominantly female crowd was greeted at the door with cosmopolitans for a resurrection of the roaring twenties, and entertained by One Hit Wonders and a selection of semi-dressed male models, including 'Butlers in the Buff'.
The raffle consisted of 14 prizes topping $12,000 from leading fashion houses such as Gucci, Bulgari, Miu Miu and Jimmy Choo, hospitality groups and the best of health and beauty labels.
Guests also received a gift bag filled with goodies, fashion tid-bits, health and beauty products valued at over $130.
"This year's Cosmopolitans for a Cause exceeded expectation given the poor weather conditions. The generosity of guests was wonderful and everyone looked beautiful.
"The entertainment was very enjoyable and overall it was a fabulous event for the company and of course for the McGrath Foundation, who we are so happy to have supported again this year," said J & J O'Brien director, Judith Crawley.
The McGrath Foundation is celebrating ten years of increasing treatment and awareness of breast cancer, which affects one in nine Australian women.
