The Liverpool Hotel and Corner Pub have come on the market in a rare opportunity for operators in one of Sydney's most lucrative gaming precincts.

Featuring a combined 50 EGMs including exclusive lessee ownership of 16 permits and four entitlements worth nearly $3 million, the adjacent hotels represent a pub gaming presence unavailable anywhere else in the state.

The businesses are under long-term (circa 23-year) leases and hold 24-hour and 3am licences (respectively). Selling agent John Musca from Jones Lang LaSalle told TheShout there are few Top 100 gaming hotels still in individual private ownership and opportunities "do not get any better".

"These hotels offer the simplest form of pub operation – a small public bar each and a gaming room – and they are situated on arguably the busiest retail corner of Liverpool with the nearest club and pub doing over $1 million per week in gaming turnover," said Musca.

Liverpool is one of Sydney's strongest gaming LGA's with 7 out of 13 pubs in the TOP 200, and only a few leasehold hotels with significant gaming revenues have been publicly offered to market since 2010.

The leaseholds are being sold in a Public Tender process through JLL, closing Wednesday 26 June 2013.
