Sydney hospitality group C.Inc is planning to add a glamorous new cocktail bar to its portfolio of venues, new chief executive officer Nik Rollison told TheShout.
Already operating iconic venues the Coogee Bay Hotel and The Bourbon, C.Inc took on a new CEO last August to take the group “into the next exciting phase”.
Rollison, who was formerly F&B manager at The Star, said the decision to join Christopher Cheung’s team was easy to make.
“The greatest consistency in our portfolio is that each property is in a prime location, which makes doing business very easy,” said Rollison.
“However, it’s my job to give a fresh face to some existing spaces, and bring to life ideas that currently exist only on paper.
“Within the next six months, C.inc will give a pulse to one of those concepts in the form of a world-class cocktail bar in a yet-to-be named location. Until the time is right, that’s all I can say, but I can assure you that we will be expanding our presence in 2014.”
Each year the Coogee Bay Hotel hosts a charity golf day in support of the Sydney Children’s Hospital and last October it raised almost $200,000 toward its goal of $1 million in five years.
