Solotel Group CEO Andrew Gibbs (pictured) is set to take the helm at Riversdale Group, with Paddy Coughlan having taken on a new role and responsibilities in preparation for the group’s public offering.
While Riversdale has not yet officially announced the appointment, insiders told TheShout that Gibbs has accepted the CEO position.
Riversdale is backed by high-flying Australian businessmen John Singleton, Mark Carnegie and Geoff Dixon and has amassed a portfolio of 12 venues in Sydney and Brisbane.
In April Paddy Coughlan, who has held the role for several years during the celebrity-backed pub operator’s rise to prominence, announced he was moving on from the role of CEO to simply "founder and shareholder".
Riversdale executives were unavailable for comment prior to publication.
