Brown-Forman Australia is proud to announce that Woodford Reserve Master Distiller, Chris Morris, will be heading to Australia this November for the first time in almost 9 years. Chris will be visiting Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne from Monday 9th to Friday November 13th, with brand education sessions and bespoke dinners to be held in each location.

Chris has spent his working life in the bourbon industry. He is responsible for maintaining the award-winning taste of the Woodford Reserve Family of Brands. In 2004, Morris became Master Distiller and launched the Woodford Reserve Master’s Collection to critical acclaim, followed by Woodford Reserve Double Oaked in 2012. He created the first new Rye whiskey crafted in Kentucky in a generation, Woodford Reserve Rye, due for release in Australia in 2016.

As you may know, Woodford Reserve is one of the fastest-growing super-premium bourbons with roots at the historic Woodford Reserve Distillery in Woodford County, Kentucky, one of the smallest and oldest operating distilleries in America. In light of the increasing awareness of Woodford Reserve here in Australia, Chris’ visit will compliment the existing On Premise ‘Lighthouse Account’ program, implemented by Woodford Reserve for the past 4 years across the country, as well as the planned launch of Woodford Reserve Double Oaked.

Venue operators, trade partners, bar staff and consumers will be invited to take part in a special brand education session in each state via their Brown-Forman representative over the coming weeks.
