The proprietors of Adelaide eatery and bar, Mesa Lunga, have opened a new Spanish-themed venue next door to their original business.
Known as Sangria Bar, the new venue takes its inspiration from the Spanish city of San Sebastian and serves ten different styles of sangria cocktails. The venue also serves bite-sized tapas known as pintox and chupitos, the Spanish equivalent of a shooter.
The sangria varieties were created by bar manager Steve Burns, whose concoctions include flavoured syrups and unusual ingredients like hibiscus and Turkish apple.
Sangria Bar is located on the corner of Gouger and Morphett Streets, Adelaide, and is open from 6pm until late.
