The judging of Galliano’s Hottest Bartender competition takes place at Sydney’s Cruise Bar today (October 22).
Ten finalists from across Australia will be judged on their performance, presentation and creation of their unique Galliano cocktail, as well as that extra ‘Galliano’ factor.
Their Galliano cocktail must contain no more than five ingredients and include at least 30ml of a liqueur from the Galliano range.
This year’s finalists include Ryan Noreiks from the Lark in Brisbane and Lee Potter Cavanagh from The Rum Diaries in Sydney.
The judging panel includes master mixologist Jason Crawley and last year’s winner, Robb Sloan.
The winner will be announced at a special reveal party in February 2009.
