Top Melbourne bar, Der Raum, along with its exclusive cocktail fraternity, the Melbourne Temperance Society, will host a unique Riedel master class tomorrow night (January 20).

From 8pm, Riedel representative Danielle Watson will speak about the iconic glassware, developed in Austria by George Riedel.

Based on the idea that the shape of the wine glass can affect the drinker’s experience, Riedel glasses are considered by many to be the Rolls Royce of glassware.

At the master class, following an in-depth demonstration of four of the ‘Vinum’ collection of glasses matched to a selection of wines each participant will receive a personal gift pack of four Riedel ‘Vinum’ glasses.

The Melbourne Temperance Society is an exclusive group dedicated to preserving the fine craftsmanship of cocktail making. They host regular master classes throughout the year.
