The Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), hosts of the 20th annual Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) announced that 10,000 people have registered to attend the show.
The three-day expo kicks off this Sunday (Aug 16) and GTA’s chief executive, Ross Ferrar, said that the record registrations are reflective of the strength of the expo.
“There’s a renewed sense of confidence and optimism among the exhibitors, who have been preparing for the trade exhibition at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre since Wednesday,” Ferrar said.
“This show has a long tradition of delivering the latest, world’s-best products and services with a gaming flavour and a breadth of displays which is second to none. Exhibitors have been helped in their efforts by the largest gaming trade promotion campaign in Australia and superb background support systems.”
The expo includes the Australasian Gaming Briefing, which will present two hours of current industry commentary on Monday (Aug 17) from 4pm that will be webcast live.
More than 170 exhibitors will be showcasing the latest in gaming and hospitality products at the AGE, including gaming giants Aristocrat Technologies, Aruze Gaming, IGT, Stargames, Konami Australia and Ainsworth Game Technology.
