A 22-year-old woman was charged after allegedly hitting another woman over the head with a glass bottle and causing a deep cut to her cheek and lip at a Fortitude Valley nightclub on Saturday night. The victim was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment. The accused was due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
A man entered a bottle shop in the Shauna Downs Shopping Centre at Sunnybank Hills on Tuesday afternoon and threatened a female attendant with a knife. He was handed money and left the premises. He is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, 185 cm tall, aged in his mid-twenties with a stocky build and a short goatee beard.
Queensland Police are seeking assistance from the public to help solve three armed robberies that occurred in Ipswich between March and May last year. They include the March 10 robbery of a real estate agent by a woman armed with a knife; the April 5 robbery of a petrol station by a woman armed with a hammer; and the May 3 robbery of a bottle shop by a woman armed with a tyre leaver. On each of these occasions, the offender was described as having an average build and being around 165 centimetres tall.
A man armed with a syringe entered a bottle shop on Beaudesert Road at Moorooka on Thursday night, threatened a female employee and left the store with a sum of cash. He is described as Caucasian, 175cm tall in his mid 20s to early 30s, with a solid build and brown hair.

Two men wearing balaclavas — one of whom was carrying a firearm — entered a bottle shop on Canterbury Road, Canterbury, on Sunday night and demanded money from an attendant. The men fled on foot, escaping with a sum of cash and several packets of cigarettes. The attendant gave chase along Canterbury Road and into Minter Street, where he lost sight of the pair. Investigations continue.
A female attendant of a pub in Prior Street, Cargelligo, was leaving the premises when she was approached by a man who had his face obscured and who was armed with a knife. The offender forced the attendant back into the pub where he was handed a sum of cash before fleeing the scene. The attendant was uninjured during the incident.

A 42-year-old Wodonga man was charged with possessing a prohibited weapon in a licensed premise after allegedly hitting a woman in the back of the head with a stun gun on Saturday. He is due to appear in Wodonga Magistrates Court next month.
