We have won the liquor industry’s top award in two of the last three years.
We are growing rapidly so we need an additional new Vanguardian for our Sydney team.
The role:
Sales Person / Spirits and Cocktail Ambassador / All-Round Good Human Being.
The role includes:
- Building strong relationships with and calling on premium bars, quality bottle shops, restaurants, five-star hotels and anyone that loves great spirits.
- Designing trade promotions that are fun, engaging and original.
- Running spirits trainings with staff and consumers.
- Working closely with and supporting our wholesale partners.
- Staying in touch with and reporting back on current trends and needs of the trade.
About you – Entrepreneurial Spirits Lover
- A genuine interest in spirits – you don’t need to be a super nerd about it but you will definitely need passion (spirits nerds also welcome).
- Appreciation of the liquor industry – you drink in good bars and your partner hates going to the bottle shop with you because it takes an hour to leave.
- People person – you find people genuinely interesting, like to hear/tell stories and can handle the occasional difficult customer.
Key Requirements
- A genuine interest in spirits – we keep saying it but it’s really important.
- Minimum 3 years’ liquor industry experience.
- Solid industry contacts.
- A good listener with fantastic people skills.
- Honesty, reliability and accountability.
- Self-motivated – you will have complete responsibility for your territory and lots of autonomy.
- A commercial approach to business.
- A full driver’s license and a car (we provide a monthly car allowance).
- NSW RSA.
- Qualifications in marketing, business, WSET or other relevant industry courses are highly valued.

A few details
- Based in Sydney.
- Full time role with occasional night time and weekend work.
- Occasional interstate travel and possible overseas travel.
