Premium Swedish cider, Rekorderlig, is set to release its sixth flavour variant in Australia, just in time for the summer cider-drinking season.
Rekorderlig Apple and Blackcurrant is due to hit shelves by November and offers Aussies a modern twist on the popular European ‘Cider & Black’ drink.
The new semi-sweet Apple and Blackcurrant has an alcohol content of four per cent and is made from Rekorderlig’s traditional apple cider combined with a dash of rich blackcurrants to produce a fruity cider that is best served over ice.
“Fruit ciders are continuing to outgrow the market, of which Rekorderlig is currently exceeding,” said Patrick Ale, managing director of Red Island, the distributor of Rekorderlig.
“We are very happy to be able to offer further innovation and even more quality to the Australian market. Rekorderlig’s Apple and Blackcurrant will be a great addition to the already successful, fast growing and much loved beverage, which continues to emphasise how versatile cider is throughout the year.”
Rekorderlig is available in five other flavours including Apple, Pear, Strawberry-Lime, Wild Berries and the limited edition Winter Cider.
Ha. Patrick ALE is a booze distributor. That’s awesome. I really hope this one is as good as the rest of the collection.
