Ray White Hotels have welcomed Mark Bullock to the national team as Director, Asset Management and Advisory.

Bullock will take on the role after having spent four years as the Director of Asset Management and Business Development for IBA (Indigenous Business Australia) Tourism Asset Management Pty Ltd. In the role, Bullock managed a portfolio of indigenous tourism accommodation properties throughout Australia.

Andrew Jolliffe, Asia Pacific Director of Hotels for Ray White, is pleased to have Bullock on board with the national hotels team.

“We’ve been fortunate to attract and retain some particularly impressive talent over the past five years, and Mark’s appointment is further testimony to this enjoyable feature of our market share and human capital growth story.”

Ray White Hotels participated in the sales of iconic accommodation hotels such Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast, Daydream Island in far north Queensland, and Crown Plaza in Terrigal. The addition of Bullock will add another level of experience and differentiation when it comes to the sale of accommodation properties.

“I am thrilled to join Andrew, Tony and their team during such an exciting time in the hotel sector. The Ray White team has had great success over its short life making considerable inroads into the accommodation sector, and I look forward to being an integral part to future successes,” stated Bullock.

Jolliffe suggests that market activity will remain strong over the next 18 months, highlighting favourable conditions.

“We find ourselves in a liquid debt market with rates at cyclical lows. The Australian dollar, whilst enjoying some recent augmentations when pegged against the US, is still attractively priced for both investors and tourism participants alike. And Australia remains a comparatively safe harbour and politically stable environment to both travel to and around, as well as invest in.”
