Vanguard Luxury Brands has made two new key appointments to its sales team in the lead-up to the busy Christmas trading period.
In Melbourne, Emma Ramos has joined the Vanguard team. Originally from the UK, Ramos has been "cutting my teeth in cocktail bars from Manchester to London for 10 years". Having worked at Milk & Honey and Diffordsguide in London, most recently she could be found at The Everleigh in Melbourne.
Ramos said: "With Dan Roche as my Obi-Wan, I'm re-learning the way of life from the other side of the bar, on the other side of the pond and loving every minute of it.”
On the other side of Australia, Steve Pickup has joined the Vanguard team in Perth, following an 18 month stint travelling the world visiting many distilleries whose brands are imported by Vanguard.
Previously, Pickup has worked with Liquid Mix in Perth, along with Island2Island and Feral Brewing in Sydney.
Pickup said: “The sun may rise in the east, but it sets in the west and I’m loving being home. It’s an exciting time here and with my new armoury of quality spirits I’m looking forward to spreading the love.”
Vanguard Owner and Founder James France said: “We’re so lucky to have these great new people join our team and we warmly welcome them to our little family. It’s a testament not only to Vanguard that they have joined us, but also to the wonderful brands we import and distribute.”
