XXXX jumps on ginger bandwagon

Queensland’s XXXX has made its entry into the ginger beer market with the release of XXXX Summer Cloudy Ginger Beer.

The limited edition ginger beer is the first ginger variant to be released by the Queensland brewer and comes at a time when beer drinkers are keen to expand their repertoire following the massive success of cider in the Australia market.

XXXX regional director, Geoff Cockerill, said the beer will only be available in Queensland and northern New South Wales at this stage, adding that the release is great news for drinkers in those areas.

"We’re always keen to add new beers to our range, so when our brewers were experimenting with different flavours and developed this new beer, we knew we needed to get cracking and get it out this summer," Cockerill said.

"Our research told us that people are becoming more adventurous in what they drink and are interested in trying new flavours, but may be reluctant to branch out with unfamiliar brands. With XXXX Summer Cloudy Ginger Beer we want to give people the option to try something new from a brand they know and love."

XXXX Summer Cloudy Ginger Beer has an ABV of 4.2 per cent and an RRP of $14.99 per six-pack.
