The twelfth flavour in the Absolut range, Berry Acai, was launched to the Sydney trade at Ray Hughes Gallery in Surry Hills last night (March 22).

Bartenders were on both sides of the stick with Berry Acai cocktails being created by bartenders Marco Faraone, Jaxon Valentine and Hugh Payten-Smith with a helping hand from Joong and Babs.

Cocktails on the night included a Berry Sour, Berry Breeze and an Absolut mix Collins.

Behind the deck DJing were bartenders Blake Head from Rock Pool, Andy Penny from The Finders as well as Charlie Wong.

It was a solid trade performance all round with the sales team from Pernod Ricard mixing it up with key accounts in the trade including the Gisella, Zac, Luke and Bala from the Bank Hotel, Jamie Campbell from Blue Star and Martin O'Mara from NILWA.

Set in an art gallery in Surry Hills, the trade viewed a number of Absolut-inspired pieces of art based around the famous Absolut bottle shape.

This was topped of by the 1985 Absolut Warhol centre stage.

In keeping with the Absolut art theme, teams from Lady Lux and The Flinders faced off in an art challenge.

Creative ideas flowed in front of a big crowd with Lady Lux taking out the gong by popular demand.
