Aruze Gaming has signed an ownership interest purchase agreement to acquire the True Blue Gaming Group of companies.
Under the agreement, which is expected to close this month, the True Blue Gaming Group will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Aruze Gaming and will develop gaming content for all global Aruze Gaming offices.
As part of the agreement, president and CEO of True Blue Gaming Kent Young will become general manager of Aruze Gaming America.
Young has a long history in the gaming industry, most recently serving as global general manager of Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. before founding True Blue Gaming. Prior to that he was the vice president of marketing for Aristocrat Americas, where he was responsible for the successful launching of many of its breakthrough products and building its market share in North and South America.
Chief development officer of True Blue Gaming Group Scott Olive will become president of True Blue Gaming and continue to manage the development of gaming content for the company.
Olive has contributed to more than 30 patents and has developed a highly successful team and range of products under True Blue Gaming.
Aruze Gaming Australia’s national sales manager Vince Gallagher said they were extremely pleased to acquire the talent and experience of Young and Olive.
“This provides Aruze Gaming Australia with an exceptional resource to develop more game concepts for Australian-style machines and players," he said.
As one of the key game content developers for Aristocrat Leisure Ltd, Scott Olive was responsible for the development of some of Aristocrat’s most popular and innovative gaming products.
