Wine Australia will launch its new Spring/Summer collection at the London International Wine Trade Fair (LIWF) when it kicks off in the British capital on Tuesday (May 12).
The three-day fair will feature nearly 1300 exhibitors and 25,000 wines from across the globe. It will see iconic Australian regions such as the Yarra Valley and Rutherglen will be represented alongside wines from Bordeaux and Napa Valley.
Wine Australia Regional Director (UK/Ireland/Europe) Lisa McGovern said this years’ show would be a “dynamic” one.
“It will be a great chance to meet with many of the trade and press over these three important days, and the perfect opportunity for us to showcase what’s new and exciting from Australia,” she said.
In addition, leading Australian glass container maker O-I will partner with the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation (AWBC) at the event to present their new ‘leaner and greener bottles’ to the trade. Using modified designs, the bottles weigh up to 28 per cent less than traditional glass.
The LIWF is a trade-only event. Entry is free for registered delegates.
