The biggest hospitality and gaming event in Australia is underway.
The Australasian Gaming Expo 2019 celebrates its 30th event after opening for day one yesterday, Tuesday 13 August.
Over 3,100 key industry executives from the gaming and hospitality industry gathered for the first day of the 30th Australasian Gaming Expo at the ICC Sydney at Darling Harbour.
A spokesperson for the AGE 2019 organisers, the Gaming Technologies Association, revealed a strong start to the three-day conference and seminars event, with first day visitor numbers up 3% year-on-year. The first day’s seminar program was very well attended, with all sessions full and several of them standing room only. Organisers also revealed registrations are already up 3% year on year.
Day one wrapped with a cocktail party celebrating the 30-year milestone, during which the GTA highlighted exhibitors who have attended the AGE since inception: Allpride Signs & Marketing, Aristocrat Technologies Australia, Aruze Gaming, Brintons Carpets, BSG Australia, Global Gaming Industries, IGT, Jensen Data Systems, Paynter Dixon, Plantscaping Solutions, Scientific Games, SICO South Pacific, Sprintquip, Technoprom and VFJ Currency Equipment.
The AGE expo concludes this Thursday 15 August at 3pm. Visitors can still register and attend.
