After rumours were made public that Dixon Hospitality were engaging Citi to look into a bid on the Keystone group portfolio, the pub group have denied any interest.

Fairfax Media suggested that the expansive pub operations group had hired Citi to look into a potential acquisition of the food-and-beverage operators currently in receivership, but a spokesperson for Dixon Hospitality has denied the claim.

“There's no truth in the rumour that we have appointed Citi to look at acquiring the Keystone portfolio,” Marcia English of Dixon Hospitality told TheShout.

English went one step further, stating: “We have no plans to purchase any of the Keystone venues.”

Expansion plans have not slowed down for the group though, with the purchase of the Beer Deluxe portfolio having been finalised this week.

“We have just settled Beer DeLuxe so the team is very pleased to have the group now part of the Dixon portfolio.”
