Hennessy has announced details of its recover initiative, which will help support thousands of hospitality staff who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.

The initiative will see Hennessy partner directly with local businesses by purchasing vouchers from venues across Australia, to help provide some cash relief. These vouchers will then be gifted to frontline hospitality workers or event staff who have lost vital income due to venue closures and event cancellations across the country.

Andrew McLaren, Managing Director, Moet Hennessy Australia & New Zealand, said: “The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating for the hospitality industry. Even though we are now seeing venues re-open, albeit with restricted operational guidelines, the effects for many venues and individuals will unfortunately be long lasting.

“The on-premise community has remarkable spirit and resilience and is never shy in coming together in support of others in a time of need. Now is the time where they need our support and we hope that this initiative can assist in aiding their recovery.”

If you have been impacted by reduced hours or loss of wage, simply head to the Hennessy For Hospo website to register for a $50 meal voucher at a participating venue.

Thousands of vouchers, plus Hennessy product, and cash support has been made available to venues and impacted individuals as part of a wider industry support initiative, amassing close to $200,000 support from Hennessy in Australia.
