Hotels in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide celebrated, Sydney and Melbourne miss out
Pubs in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide have all been named among the most popular dining venues in Australia.
New data just revealed by the restaurant search and booking platform, Zomato, has named the 10 most popular eateries in each state among the 65,000 spots in their system. It also shows Australians spent over $45 billion dining out this year.
In Brisbane, the XXXX Brewery Alehouse in Milton topped the list, coming first in QLD.
In WA, Little Creatures’ Fremantle Brewery bounded into the top 10, landing seventh place among all venues in the state.
Down in Adelaide, Hotel Longtime made a fantastic entry among the top 10 new restaurants in SA, picking up sixth place.
“Australia is becoming one of the leading foodie nations around the world,” said Ryan Flanagan, Zomato Country Manager. “We enjoy dining out and we are much more adventurous and conscious around our food choices.”
