Jim Beam has launched its 'Fan Made History' campaign, that encourages football fans to express how passionate they are about their club by nominating how much of the grand prize of $100,000 they would share with their team.

For the length of the campaign, which runs until 30 November, fans can purchase a specially marked 10-pack of Jim Beam White or full-spirit bottle then enter online at www.fanmadehistory.com.au using their unique code. Then, in increments of $10,000 they nominate how much of the $100,000 they would give to their nominated team. Every $10,000 pledge to the team allots that fan another entry into the draw. The teams nominated can be from either Australian Rules Football or the National Rugby League. The winning entrant will receive their share nominated, as will the football team.

"Jim Beam has been making history for over 200 years and is now getting behind the true heroes of the game, the fans. There is no game without the fans and Jim Beam wants to encourage their passion by giving them the opportunity to share $100,000 with their favourite team," said Jim Beam Marketing Manager Ben Andrews.

Jim Beam is also giving away another $50,000 during the campaign. Fifty-dollar notes have been hidden within 1000 cans in the specially marked 10-packs, so that Jim Beam drinkers can also be instant winners.

Football legends Mark Geyer and Campbell Brown will be serving as ambassadors of the game, cheering on fans to enter the competition and show support for their team. Jim Beam will also be promoting the campaign on social media, NRL tipping sites and the AFL Fox  Sports website.

In the lead-up to finals season, Jim Beam have also released 12 limited edition cans that include designs of classic football jargon – a perfect collection for the passionate footy fan.
