The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) annual industry and stakeholder survey is underway once again.

The survey, which is conducted every year, is an opportunity to give feedback on how the VCGLR is performing in its role of regulating Victoria’s gambling and liquor industries. The survey is already underway with licensees and stakeholders being contacted via email and everyone is encouraged to take part.

The VCGLR said: “The VCGLR uses survey results to understand how stakeholders view its activities and to improve its processes and business operations to better regulate the gambling and liquor industries and ensure a safe and responsible environment for Victorians and visitors alike.

“Participation is voluntary and responses are confidential and anonymous. All survey feedback will be consolidated and de-identified before being provided to the VCGLR.”

The annual Industry Survey is essential in providing industry feedback and helping the VCGLR continuously improve its processes and communication approach.

The Industry Survey also examines:

  • the VCGLR’s performance in regulating gambling and liquor products, services and businesses
  • licensee understanding of their licence conditions
  • licensee understanding of compliance decisions in relation to non-compliance incidents
  • the VCGLR’s communication channels.

The regulator said that high level results will be published on the VCGLR website when available.
