The award-winning Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel will launch a pop-up of their famed outdoor Beach Club offering on Manly Beach at the end of the summer.

As part of the festivities at the Australian Open of Surfing (AOS), the Beach Club at Manly by Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel will be a fully-licensed, free-entry area on the beach that will replicate the iconic pub’s Beach Club.

The famed blue and white umbrellas and lounge furniture will be present, and the F&B offering will include fresh seafood, Hawaiian poke, coconut cocktails and 4 Pines beer – who are the exclusive beer supplier for AOS.

The Beach Club at Manly will also offer a variety of entertainment during AOS, including morning yoga sessions, DJs and acoustic performances.

Simon Corkill, vice president of Event Operations Australia – who are putting on the festivities, was ecstatic to add the Beach Club pop-up to the event.

“Every year we aim to grow the event and bring in new elements to entertain the fans. This year, with the first ever Beach Club, new skate competition format and the addition of BMX – along with a strong music line-up – we have pushed the reset button on the event. This year’s event will be the biggest in the history of the Australian Open of Surfing.”

The pop-up on Manly Beach will operate from 25 February to 5 March.
