BAM Wine Logistics (BAM) has expanded its logistics presence in Western Australia, with the acquisition of hospitality industry logistics provider, Vino Vans.

BAM established operations in Western Australia earlier this year, when it bought the WA operations of Kaddy Fulfilment after it went into voluntary administration in March.

Vino Vans was founded in 2021 and built a reputation for delivering high-quality and reliable logistics solutions to the hospitality industry. BAM’s General Manager, Daniel Van Vemde, said Vino Vans’ reputation strengthens BAM’s presence in WA, having long been at the forefront of the wine and beverage logistics market in Australia.

“The acquisition of Vino Vans is an exciting step forward for BAM,” Van Vemde said.

“We have always admired Vino Vans’ exceptional dedication to cus-tomer service and their expertise in handling logistics for the hospitality industry. With this strategic move, we aim to build upon our combined strengths and provide an unparalleled experience to our valued clients in Western Australia.”

Under the new ownership, Vino Vans’ operations will be integrated into BAM Wine Logistics, allowing for synergies and streamlining of services, with Scott and Brooke Spalding, the founders of Vino Vans, to be deeply involved in the transition.

Scott said: “We are delighted to become a part of the BAM family. Our team at Vino Vans is excited to bring our expertise and experience to BAM’s operations, and together, we can further enhance the logistics services available to our customers in Western Australia.”

BAM is an independently run, but integral part of the Joval Group of Companies, with CEO Tim Menting saying Joval is excited about this strategic expansion.

He said: “Our vision is to continually enhance our logistics capabilities. When we acquired Kaddy Fulfillment’s Western Australian business earlier this year, we set out to ensure BAM became a market leader in WA. We are well on the way to doing this.

“We have been tracking Vino Vans’ progress since inception, and have been impressed by their development and strong reputation. We are confident that by adding Vino Vans into the BAM network, our Group will be able to provide unparalleled service to our customers in Western Australia.”

BAM said it will transition Vino Vans’ operations to BAM’s site in Forrestfield over the coming weeks.
