The Australian Drinks Festival is encouraging consumers and members of the trade to get out and enjoy some fantastic, limited-edition, discounted drinks in some of Melbourne’s hottest bars.
The Bar Safari runs from Friday 1 July to Friday 15 July, while stocks last, and includes venues like 1806, Boilermaker House, Cookie, Harley House Picanteria, The Kodiak Club, Loch & Key, and The Montague, teaming up with brands and distributors such as The Pisco People, Jim Beam, Monin, Amaro Montenegro, Wine on Tap, and Fernet-Branca – to name a few.
With each venue curating a signature drink, or tasting paddle for the event there is plenty to check out around the city before The Australian Drinks festival kicks off on 16-17 July.
Some of Melbourne’s most creative cocktail minds have gone all out, including the team at 1806 which has created The Full Table, inspired by home-style cooking and old fashioned hospitality and featuring salted beetroot Jim Beam Small Batch, a port and balsamic syrup, chocolate bitters and a quail egg. Made with Sunday brunch in mind, this cocktail is just the tip of the Bar Safari iceberg.
All the Bar Safari drinks brands, along with hundreds of others, will also be at the Australian Drinks Festival with plenty of pop-up bars, free samples and cocktails to keep attendees busy.
