Beam Suntory have announced that former Kellogg's and Campbell Arnott's executive John Rosair will join the company next month in the newly created position of managing director, Oceania.
Rosair, described as "a recognised consumer products leader with extensive executive and sales", will report to Albert Baladi, president of Beam Suntory international.
"Oceania is a tremendously important business unit for us, and John is an outstanding leader who can help us accelerate our growth in Australia and New Zealand," Baladi said.
"Australia is the number one export market for Jim Beam and the growth engine for Canadian Club, and New Zealand is one of Jim Beam's strongest markets," he added.
"We've returned to impressive share growth in Australia, and we've enhanced our route to market with CCA. John joins our Oceania business at a time when we're building momentum, and we're confident that he and the Oceania team can take our performance throughout Oceania to the next level."
Rosair, who will start on 17 August, will be part of Beam Suntory's international leadership team and will be based at the company's Sydney headquarters.
